The Session
The FK8 Type R is a strikingly aggressive car, this one in particular stands out even more with its plethora of aftermarket enhancements. It pops out even more when it's Rallye Red paint is contrasted with the natural landscapes around Dallas' White Rock Lake and a nearby trailhead parking area.
Focus Points
This car is adorned with parts from Mugen, J's Racing, and Spoon - all of which are major players in the Honda space. They blend together beautifully along the car's lines and expand its aggressive look further. The development continues beneath the hood and inside the cabin, where more add-ons build on the overall aesthetic.
In the Moment
”This shoot was well planned - until it started. I had scouted it a few days beforehand and it was gorgeous, and it was just as pretty of a spot the day of. What I did not plan for was a collegiate rowing competition that would fill the whole lot. Some careful positioning helped keep the shoot going, and I opted to make the most of the moment and capture elements of that event in the photos for a unique gallery other photographers wouldn't have.”
